Bourbon, smokes & a dimply lit bar...dark country, reminiscent to some of Tex Perkins deeds. Hard to select a fav track, be it the slower balladry of 'Bedlam' to the more electrified & haunting 'Stones' or instrumental 'Sunday' that builds up in true Dirty Three fashion. Also a fine cover of Neil Young's 'Captain Kennedy' is heard & all recorded live in Melbourne @ the Bakehouse - a Justin Cusack project that was way too brief.
Favorite track: Bedlam.
Awesome - a word I rarely use. Justin Cusack (whose CD "Caviar" really should be in your collection) led this band for their too-short history. A bit of Shakey Graves maybe, and the track "Sunday" is in Low territory.
Favorite track: Sunday.
A little project of mine...I guess we played from 2008 till late 2009 or early 2010.
